Blue Mountain I
This piece is inspired by a trip to the Lake District. We were staying in a beautiful, converted barn in Docker, near Kendal. In the living room there was a small window, set within really thick walls, through which you could see the most exquisite view of the mountain and silhouetted foliage of the trees, set against a darkening sky. It felt like you were looking through a hobbits window – it was so magical!
